What is the Coopal Engineer Diagnostic Service?
Simply put, the Coopal Engineer Diagnostic Service provides you with a complete understanding of what is wrong with your fitness equipment and a solution path for putting things right again so that you or your clients can get back to training!
This may sound simplistic, but a clear, simple understanding of the issue and it's relation to your machine's condition is important so that you can make the best possible decision moving forward.
This is such a key service because breakdowns or faults are rarely isolated to one aspect of your machine. There is generally a sequence of events or other issues that manifest into the final breakdown or fault you experience.
If the other underlying issues are not identified, the fitment of a potentially costly replacement part will just delay a re-occurrence of a similar fault longer term! A costly and frustrating exercise!!
So the outcome of the Coopal Engineer Diagnostic Service will always give you a clear understanding of the issue and how that relates to machine condition and you, the end user.
The Coopal engineer will always explain everything and offer a range of solutions and advice so you are able to reach an outcome you are comfortable with.
We charge from £69 plus VAT for the Coopal Engineer Diagnostic Service, from (£82.80 Inc. VAT). Payable on the day by credit/debit card or cash. (Check our "Areas Covered" page for your postcode and price)
How does it all work?
- You contact us by telephone, email or fill out the online Book a Visit Form.
- We contact you to discuss the issue, (sometimes we can help over the telephone/via email). If not, we arrange a visit on a mutually convenient date and in a 2 hour time window so you don't have to wait in all day.
- Your engineer will arrive as arranged, and discuss the issue you are experiencing. Your engineer will then complete a thorough diagnostic, identify the cause of the issue and discuss the solution path with you. The outcome of the diagnostic will be one of the following:
We can repair on the day
If we can repair on the day, we will discuss this with you first and give you a fixed cost which will include all labour and parts, (typically repairs will add another £25 to £50 plus parts & VAT to the diagnostic charge). You then decide what you would like to do, but are under no obligation to proceed with the repair. If you decide not to proceed with the repair you will just be charged the Coopal Diagnostic fee.
If you do proceed with repair, your engineer will complete all works, discuss what has been done and test the machine with you so you are completely satisfied before finishing off. The engineer will produce an invoice and you pay on the day.
Your repair will be covered by our 6 month guarantee so that in the event of any issue you just call your engineer and we will arrange a free of charge visit to sort the issue.
The engineer needs to return with parts
If after the diagnostic your engineer finds that parts are required to complete a repair, we will provide a fixed cost to return, supply and fit them. If you wish to proceed our engineer will order parts and contact you to arrange a return visit. If you decide not to proceed with the repair you will just be charged the Coopal Diagnostic fee.
The engineer recommends your machine is Beyond Economic Repair
All issues are generally repairable, but sometimes it just doesn't make financial sense to do so! If you decide after discussing the issue that your machine is beyond economic repair, your engineer will discuss your options and make recommendations. We will always try and find you the best option for your needs. You think about options and decide how to proceed in your own time. In this situation you will just be charged the Coopal Diagnostic fee.
That's it – Simple!
